Silicone tubing has long been used for medical tubing, as it meets the medical industry’s requirements for cleanliness and non-toxicity. Another of silicone’s major features — resistance to extreme temperature variations — has enabled its use in applications where a flexible tubing is needed to handle temperatures not possible with other plastics or rubbers.
A rubber-like thermoset material, silicone tubing and hose is extremely pliable and elastic, and it is not altered by the effects of weather. It generally exhibits inertness toward U.V., radiation, and ozone making it an excellent choice for electrically-associated applications.

Our standard quality for solid extruded silicone profiles is 65 Shore A in translucent colour, although we can manufacture from 20 to 85 Shore A in any basic colour and any RAL to measure, as well as luminescent, fluorescent or metallic colours.
We can supply any shape given a drawing or sample in several coil lengths (25 m, 50 m, 100 m, 250 m and 500 m). Other lengths and cut parts from 1mm onwards can be supplied on request.The key properties of extruded silicone rubber profiles include dimensional stability in high and/or low temperatures with a working range from -50ºC up to +220ºC in standard silicone, reaching from -90ºC up to +315ºC for our high temperature silicone using our specific formulations;
The silicone profiles we offer are an excellent electric insulator, easily sterilisable for hygiene (CFR21 section 177.2600), BgVV (recommendation XV) and medical-grade silicone profiles complying with USP class VI., offer great chemical resistance, can be transparent and have possibilities of adding wide range of colours.
